Chinese Example – Thank You For Coming 

亲爱的[宾客的名字],

祝生活愉快!

[你们的名字] 上

Format of Chinese Thank-you note to Your Guests:

1. 亲爱的= Dear

2. 宾客的名字= Name of your guests

3. Main message in your thank you card

4. 祝生活愉快= Wish you a happy life! (To end a Chinese letter. a greeting is usually added. You may also use 祝身体健康, meaning wish you good health, depending on the recipient)

5. 你们的名字= Your names

6. 上= Meaning of respect (It is always included after your names if your recipients are your family elders, teachers, boss, or anybody that you highly respect of. If the recipient is your peers and friends, you don’t need to include 上 after your names.)

English Example – Thank You For Helping Us

Dear [Helper’s Name],

Your assistance on our wedding day was invaluable. We couldn’t have done it without you. Your dedication and support made our day truly special. Thank you so much!

Chinese Template – Thank You For Helping Us

2. 帮助者的名字= Name of your helpers/ wedding vendors

3. Main message in your thank you card

4. 祝生活愉快= Wish you a happy life! (To end a Chinese letter. a greeting is usually added. You may also use 祝工作顺利 or 祝生意兴隆 if it is for wedding vendor, meaning all the best with your work and prosperous business respectively)

5. 你们的名字= Your names

6. 上 is usually not included in this case as your helpers are usually your peers.
